Get your NNAS report in 5 days! *NEW* NNAS Expedited Service
Hi all IENs,
Can you believe that the National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS) now has an expedited service?! Where you can receive your NNAS results in just 5 days!
I was writing a different post about NNAS report results and logged in to their website and stumbled across this information.
This stopped me in my tracks and made me change the post to write about this as it is so helpful! No longer the painful waiting for your NNAS report!
About NNAS
For those of you looking to get licensed in Canada, NNAS is a route you can go down to get your credentials verified for you to then apply to your chosen regulatory body.
The regulatory bodies that allow expedited NNAS applications are; CLPNM, CRNS, CRNMPEI, NANB, SALPN, SLPNNL, CRNNL, BCCNM, NSCN.

That’s all folks!
The Results
Within 5 days of your documents being received, NNAS will release your report for both LPN and RN.
The Cost
Only $750! for an application to assess you for both RN and LPN.
Be Aware!
Some regulatory bodies may not even need an NNAS application, so please check your regulatory bodies website to see what they require for your IEN application.
Additionally, some regulatory bodies have not approved the expedited application process, so make sure the one you are applying to allows this.
Overall
This is a great push to get internationally educated nurses in to Canada quicker. It will lead to you being able to apply to your regulatory body quicker and find out your next steps from them.
BUT… and it’s one big but… this doesn’t really solve a large hurdle that I remember — getting the documents in and approved, as there was definitely a lot of communication issues with NNAS in ensuring the documents were complete and received.
I do hope they have straightened out these issues for this new service!
Please comment if you have gone down the expedited NNAS route — we’d love to hear from you and your experience 😃
